Forfar Association for Continuing Education is gearing up for its coming session of winter classes which start on October 17.
Councillor Lynne Devine, on behalf of Angus Council, presented a cheque for £1500 to F.A.C.E Chairperson Margaret Valentine.
Margaret said: “F.A.C.E. is very grateful to Angus Council for their continued assistance and support and we are looking forward to another successful winter session of classes.
“One of the nine classes we are hoping to run in the recently refurbished computer room at the Montrose Road Centre is an introduction, with hands-on practice, in using internet applications and social media.”
Registration forms are available at all Angus Libraries and Museums or go along to the registration days on September 16 from 2-4 pm and September 17 from 10 am to 12 pm at Forfar Library.
