End for market

Letham Feuars’ committee, which has run the Victorian Market for over twenty years, has decided that, due to the financial cost of running the event in the square, it is no longer a viable as a community event.

It is hoped that a community event of some kind will still take place and, to discuss possibilities, an open meeting will be held in the Feuars’ Hall this coming Wednesday evening at 7.30 pm. All interested are invited to attend and present ideas for some form of fun event.
