Whitehills Primary School have recently launched their Walk to Whitehills Wednesday initiative.

Their aim is to encourage pupils to walk to school at least once a week leaving the car at home.

Not only is it healthy but it should ease congestion outside the school.

To help launch Walk to Whitehills Wednesday the Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSOs) organised a design a mascot/colouring competition.

The overall winner, Abbie Watson, had her design printed on t-shirts which were used as prizes. The t-shirts were very kindly donated by Asda, Forfar and the JRSOs would like to thank Asda for their support.

Pictured are some of the winners of the competition sporting their new t-shirts.

At the front is Abbie Watson wearing her winning design.

Also pictured are Nadine Leslie and Hannah Sinclair two of the JRSOs while fellow JRSOs Ewan Millar and Megan Bruce were absent from the photograph.
