Twenty-five Webster’s pupils received bronze and silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards at a special presentation in the school last Tuesday.
They were presented with their certificates by head teacher Mr Eric Summers in front of proud parents, leaders and fellow pupils.
Participants spent from three to 12 months in volunteering, skill, physical and expedition activities. They and their leaders extended thanks to the school and local community for supervising and assessing them in a variety of activities including canoeing, hill-walking, archery, dance, music and a range of volunteer work.
Bronze Awards were achieved by:
Jenny Black, Anna Brodie, Greg Bruce, Rebecca Bryce, Luke Channon, Lauren Clark, Lorcan Dyer, Lucy Fisher, Stephen Gray, Lewis Headridge, Jack Laird, Tanisha Leeson, Caitlyn Marshall, Finn McKay, Steven Murphy, Katie Phillips, Amy-Jo Randalls, Molly Shaw, Calum Sinclair, Neil Smith, Hamish Watkinson and Esther Whitford.
Silver awards were presented to:
Emily Baillie, Jessica Hornsted, Anna Kidd, Sarah Little, Ciara McKay, Isla Millar, Sam Scott, Louisa Sturdy, Abby Whyte and Zoe Wilkie.
