The Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland charity shop here in Forfar has a dramatically bare window this week and is making an urgent appeal for donations to restock its shelves.
Shop manager Tracey Brown explains: “The models in our window are bare this week because we desperately need donations of good quality clothing.
“We’ve had tremendous support from the people of Forfar since we opened four years ago and I’m sure once the message gets out there people locally will rally round with good quality donations of clothes, bric a brac, accessories, books and small electrical goods.
“I’d like to thank everyone in Forfar for their custom and support but we really need more donations of stock to sell in the shop now. We have a volunteer driver who could pick up your unwanted items. All donations are greatly appreciated and help us to raise money to fund the charity’s wide range of services.”
For more information or to arrange uplift of heavy or bulky items you wish to donate please contact Tracey on 01307 464892. Please donate today and make a real difference to the lives of local people with chest, heart and stroke illness.
