POLICE in Forfar and Kirriemuir are investigating a number of cases of thefts and vandalism which have taken place during the last week.
They are appealing for information regarding a vandalism to 16 Strathmore Avenue in Forfar whereby a window pane was struck and chipped by means unknown at about 8.30 pm on Wednesday, September 19.
Police officers are appealing for any information of suspicious persons seen in the street during these times and dates.
Sometime between about 12.25 pm and 12.40 pm on Wednesday, September 12, a theft occurred in the car park of Asda, New Road, Forfar, where a magnetic advertising sign was stolen from the driver’s door of a car.
The car park and shop was relatively busy at that time of the day.
Between 12 noon and 4 pm on September 20 near to Mains of Airlie Farm, 8 x 34 kg tractor weights were stolen.
Between 2.30 am and 11.45 am on Thursday, September 20 a car in Duthie Street, Kirriemuir, was vandalised.

Police have confirmed two males have been reported in connection with the spate of vandalism at Webster’s Sports Centre on September 13 and that one male has been reported in connection with a spate of vandalism in Sidlaw Range, Kirriemuir on August 17.
