FORFAR Sailing Club has again been targeted by thieves, this time with padlocks being removed from their clubhouse at St Margaret’s Inch.
Officers in Forfar are investigating the suspicious theft of half a dozen padlocks which had been securing the door of the clubhouse at the weekend.
The padlocks were taken from the premise at St Margaret’s Inch at Forfar Loch some time between 5pm on Saturday (June 11) and 9.30 on Sunday morning (June 12).
Anyone who was in the area and who saw or heard anything suspicious should call 0300 111 2222.
A set of step ladders and hand tools were stolen from a shed at a detached cottage in Westmuir’s Main Road, some time between 9pm on Tuesday, June 8 and midday on Saturday, June 11.
Anyone with information that could assist police enquiries should call the above number.
