A team of volunteers from Forfar East & Old Church repainted the outside of their East High Street charity premises ‘TheBigKirkShop’ last week.

The shop is enjoying its second year of operation, providing funds for the church by selling clothing, bric-a-brac, books, CD’s and toys etc. kindly donated by local folk.

Angus councillor Colin Brown popped along to lend a hand and to praise the team for their efforts in tidying up the high street.

He said: “What an improvement to a high street building that was an eyesore. I congratulate the volunteers of East and Old Church for carrying out the transformation.”
