The infant department at Strathmore Primary School have been working hard on their Christmas Nativity show, ‘The Stars Come Out for Christmas’.
Pupils from Primaries 1, 1/2 and 2/3 classes are very proud of their show which takes audiences to the ‘Strathmore Christmas Awards’ to find out who will win the top award of ‘Outstanding Contribution to Christmas’.
The competition is very fierce with contestants, Santa, Christmas trees, Christmas puddings and a special surprise entry!
The production is a culmination of this term’s science topic ‘Good Vibrations’ through which the pupils have been exploring sound and investigating different types of musical instruments.
When asked what they have enjoyed most about performing their show, one pupil commented: “I really enjoy smiling and shouting out my cheers to the audience.”
Another cast member commented: “I like singing ‘Away in a Manger’ because it’s my favourite song.”
Parents and friends of the school community have been invited to watch the production this week and share in the festive fun. Well done to all pupils and staff for their hard work, dedication and enthusiasm.
