Crafts of Angus Showcase and Shop in Letham have a full programme of events planned for December, starting with a Late Night Shopping Experience.
Ladies can write a ‘Wish List’ during their visit on December 2 from 7 p.m. to enable the gents to use the ‘Wish List’ on their visit on December 9 from 7 p.m.
Both evenings will have refreshments and a gift wrapping service.
Two workshops have been planned to make your own Christmas coasters on December 6 or make your own Christmas stockings on December 13.
If it’s knitting you like, then join the group on the first and third Thursday mornings of each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. or the second and fourth Thursday evenings of each month from 7 to 9 p.m.
Angus Craft Association set up the shop earlier this year as a co-operative for its members to give them a retail outlet as well as showcase local hand crafted items.
Geoff Riley, chairman, said: “Our members work hard to make the public aware of the quality products available in Angus and the ‘Craft of Angus Showcase and Shop’ will be the perfect place to display our crafts and keep it local.”
Crafts of Angus Showcase and Shop can be found at 14 The Square, Letham, Angus.
The Angus Craft Association takes great pride in introducing examples of work created with passion, skill and dedication by its members.
With members from all over Angus and all over Scotland, they bring crafts to Angus at a variety of events.
Set up almost 10 years ago, the Association aims to foster and promote contemporary and traditional craft practice in and for Angus, and they still hold these values today.
