ANGUS locals are being challenged to abseil 165 feet to raise for Action for Children Scotland.
The charity is holding the fund raising challenge at the Firth of Forth on Sunday, May 19, and is calling for people to sign up.
Action for Children fund raiser, Lucinda Rivers, said: “The Forth Rail Bridge is one of Scotland’s greatest landmarks. This challenge is not for the faint hearted - but all of the money raised will make a huge difference to the children, young people and families we support across Scotland.”
The registration fee is £20 and all participants are asked to raise a minimum of £150 in sponsorship. No experience is required and the registration fee includes qualified instructors and all equipment and registration on the day. For further information, contact Lucinda Rivers on 07789 434664.
