The search is on for nominations for the Angus Ambassador Awards 2011 – and it could be you!
Every year, six highly prestigious Angus Ambassador Awards are presented to the people, organisations or businesses which have helped raise the profile of Angus over the last 12 months. In addition, the title of Angus Ambassador of the Year is given to a person or group who the judges feel has been an outstanding asset to the area over the past year.
“This is an excellent opportunity to put forward a person, organisation or business who has really made a difference to some aspect of life in the county of Angus,” explains Ruth Leslie Melville, Provost of Angus and chair of the Angus Ambassador Awards judging panel.
“Submitting a nomination is easy, and of course you don’t just have to nominate someone else – self-nominations are very welcome too! Plus, all finalists are invited to attend the glittering awards ceremony in November, which is a great night out.”
One of last year’s winners, Paul Grant of Mackays said: “Winning the Angus Business of the Year was great for our staff, created some useful PR and was welcomed by our customers. It is well worth winning!”
