Kinnettles Castle near Forfar is partnering with Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce to host a free business breakfast on Thursday, May 30.

The beautifully restored venue will host the event, to which all Angus-based businesses are invited.

Chamber Board Directors, David Valentine of Valentine International and Andy Ross of Glaxo Smithkline, are actively supporting the event and are keen to hear from local businesses what they expect of a dynamic local Chamber of Commerce.

Speakers will include Richard Stiff (Chief Executive) and Neil Prentice of Angus Council, who will deliver a joint presentation on the area’s economic and business prospects.

President of the Chamber, Jim Pickett of Liftruks will also be participating and is keen to meet existing Chamber members and potential new members.

He said: “I’m delighted that the splendid Kinnettles Castle is hosting our next business breakfast. Due to their generosity in providing a light breakfast, there will be no charge for this event.

“I’m encouraging all of our members in Angus to come along and to also bring with them a prospective member in order to hear about the many benefits of Chamber membership.”

Recently appointed Chief Executive, Sandra Burke, added: “In order to help provide a strong voice for businesses in Angus we need a strong membership base. To any Angus business not currently a member I extend a warm welcome. Please come along to hear what we can offer and take the opportunity to help build and reshape your local Chamber of Commerce.”

Spaces at the business breakfast are limited and can be booked on a first come first served basis on the Chamber website at www.dundeeandanguschamber.co.uk
