Band raises £1,250

WHEN the Bellshill Salvation Army Band made their annual Christmas visit to the county earlier this month, the charity chosen to receive this year’s proceeds was Lippen Care’s Strathmore Hospice.

The band conducted morning worship at St Fergus Church, Glamis, played Christmas music at Glamis Castle, visited the Strathmore Hospice where they played Christmas music for staff and patients, and played at a packed Lowson Memorial Church in Forfar which included a performance from the Lowson Praise and Dance group.

The sum of £1,250 was raised for Lippen Care during the day.
