Award in memory of Jan

SPECIAL AWARD: The presentation of a trophy in memory of Forfar apprentice jockey Jan Wilson was presmade at the Pathhead Equestrian Centre in Kirriemuir last week, at the end of a keenly contested show-jumping contest. The Jockey Jan Memorial Trophy is shared by Hannah McArthur (aged 13) and Ella Farquharson (ten), who finished the season locked together on 98 points. Jan Wilson's mother Margaret Wilson popped along to the centre to present the trophy to Hannah (second from the right and Ella Farqughson (third from the right, holding the pony Minstrel) with Stable, Kirriemuir, with looking on from left, Abby Christie, (joint fifth); Georgie Noonan (third) and Keira Gowans, (fourth).'Picture by photosonlocation.co.uk
