Members of the Angus communities are reminded that the current art and craft display at Whitehills Health and Community Care Centre in Forfar is due to end next week.

The centre has been showcasing 29 watercolours and intricate embroideries created by sisters Hazel McKenzie Milne and Olive E. M. Thomson, who are both native to Forfar.

This exhibition combines traditional arts and crafts in a new and innovative way and features a selection of Olive’s muted watercolours and black and white drawings featuring Chinese ink on Chinese paper as well as examples of Hazel’s unique style of embroidery.

A new exhibition by artists from Art 309 will be on display at Whitehills from early December.
