The Eassie, Nevay and Kirkinch Community Association is holding a coffee morning this Friday for Lippen Care.
It will be held in Eassie Hall at Balkeerie, between Glamis and Newtyle from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with teas, coffees, delicious hot pancakes and traybakes being served.
Admission is by donation with all proceeds will be going to Lippen Care which is based at Strathmore Hospice in Forfar
There will be a produce stall which will sell donations of baking, preserves and garden produce for Lippen Care, with an ENKCA books stall running for hall funds.
When Eassie Hall was rebuilt by public and private donations, the community decided in return to give something back by running an annual coffee morning to support a local charity.
To date Macmillan Cancer and the Scottish Charity Air Ambulance have benefited from the events.
This year it was decided to support Lippen Care, an Angus charity providing support to people with a life limiting or terminal illness and their families living in Angus.
Information on the work of the charity will also be available. Sales table donations will be appreciated and a warm welcome is assured.
