Thanks to nominations from an appreciative public a trio of Angus venues have made it into the final of the inaugural Scottish Hospitality Awards.
Forbes of Kingennie, the Pavilion Cafe and Guthrie Castle have all made the shortlists in three different categories and they will find out the results on Monday, June 13, at a black tie ceremony at the Crowne Plaza, Glasgow.
Guthrie Castle is in the running for ‘Romantic Hotel of the Year’; Forbes of Kingennie is up for ‘Hotel of the Year (central)’ and the Pavilion Cafe has been nominated for ‘Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year (north)’.
The awards will celebrate and reward the very best in Scottish hospitality. Based on a public vote, the awards commend the talented individuals and businesses dedicated in delivering constant professionalism, effort and enthusiasm to ensure impeccable service to their customers.
The ceremony promises to be the biggest and most memorable event in the Scottish Hospitality industry, with a range of accolades to be presented to the most deserving professionals and businesses in various fields, ranging from Hotel of the year to the much sought after Restaurant of the Year.
Irfan Younis of event organisers Creative Oceanic said: “We now deliver nine award ceremonies in Scotland and have realised the Hospitality industry plays a key role in promoting Scotland on a global level. After speaking with many business owners, venues and professionals in the industry it has become apparent they realise the importance of local customers who visit them week in week out. We would like to wish all of the finalists the best of luck and we look forward to delivering yet another great event and seeing this event growing over the next few years.”
