An Angus lettings and estate agency has been shortlisted for two accolades in an awards ceremony described as the “residential property industry’s Oscars”.

Wardhaugh Property is one of only two Scottish agencies shortlisted in the UK-wide Small Lettings Agency of the Year category of the Negotiator Awards and is up against five others in Scotland Agency of the Year category.

The announcement comes just two months after Wardhaugh was described as an “untouchable business” as they were awarded bronze in the ‘Best Scotland Lettings Agency’ category at the Lettings Agency of the Year Awards sponsored by The Times.

Amanda Wiewiorka, managing director of Wardhaugh Property, said: “It is incredibly exciting that Wardhaugh has been shortlisted in not one but two categories at this year’s Negotiator Awards and continues a run of recent success for the business.

“To be recognised as one of the top agencies in Scotland, as well as one of the best small agencies across the whole of the UK for lettings, is a real honour and tribute to the hard work and dedication each member of staff puts in every single day.”

Wardhaugh Property has offices in both Forfar and Arbroath.

The 2016 entry list was the biggest in the history of the awards and the winners and runners up will be announced at a glamorous gala dinner hosted by comedian Ed Byrne on November 1 at the five-star London Hilton on Park Lane.
