All set for biggest and best Splash

Kirriemuir’s Splash Relay Swim on Saturday is the historic 25th anniversary event with a fundraising target of £10,000.

Team appearance times for the hundreds of community, school and club swimmers entered are listed below.

Organisers request all swimmers arrive and register 15 minutes before their swim time, taking all sponsor funds with them. Swimming begins at 1.30 p.m. in 25-minute slots.

Spectators, team supporters and coaches will be welcomed throughout the afternoon and lively poolside commentary by regular compere John Neeson will add to the day’s record-breaking excitement.

Trophies for winning teams in five categories will be presented at 5 p.m. by Angus Council leader Iain Gaul.

A Splash organiser said: “More Angus companies than ever before have joined with Kirriemuir Rotary Club to support Splash 2014 - their kind contributions have given the event an encouraging financial headstart. Without them Splash could not continue to send vital funds to so many deserving charities.”
