Saddle Up Ranch, a charity that offers therapeutic horsemanship, recently received a grant of £5000 from the Santander Community Fund.

Lisa McKinnie and Jessica Probst from the charity said: “Saddle Up Ranch are hugely grateful and delighted to receive such a generous grant from the Santander Community Fund. We plan to work on improving our facilities for local groups attending the project particularly a sheltered area where we can deliver our workshops.

“We are a local organisation, awarded charitable status this year offering therapeutic horsemanship to adults and young people in the area from vulnerable/disadvantaged backgrounds and those who experience mental health problems. A spokesperson from Santander added: “We are delighted to have been able to help such a worthwhile organisation that does so much good locally. It’s wonderful to be able to support the local community through the Santander Community Plus scheme.”
