Scottish water was reassuring customers that there would be no pumping of sewage directly into Forfar Loch during a forthcoming £1.2 million project in town. The work would include the laying of sewers in Castle Street as well as the construction of a storage tank in The Myre.
Speeding motorists in Forfar and Kirriemuir came in for criticism at the quarterly meeting of Forfar and Kirriemuir Neighbourhood Watch. The meeting heard motorists in Kirriemuir were using the Roods as a “race-track” and the situation was an “accident waiting to happen.”
