Pam Mackie, Angus Council’s Acting Area Community Learning and Development Officer, presented a cheque for £1,500 recently to Margaret Valentine, Forfar Association for Continuing Education chairwoman, to help with the running costs of this year’s evening classes.

Margaret said: “The Pitassociation is very grateful to Angus Council for their assistance and we are looking forward to another successful winter session of classes. There are still a few places left in some of our classes, namely Jewellery on Mondays, Art on Mondays and Tuesdays, Wood Carving on Mondays and Spanish Beginners Plus on Tuesdays”.
