WITNESSES SOUGHT AFTER SERIOUS KIRRIE DEN INCIDENT

TAYSIDE Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman suffered a serious throat injury in an incident in Kirrie Den on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred around 8 pm near to the bandstand in The Den.
Ambulance staff were called to the scene where they treated a 22-year-old woman, who had sustained a deep cut to her throat.

The woman was conveyed to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment and her injuries are not considered life threatening.

Police officers attended to the area and the scene was secured for forensic examination.

Initial enquiries revealed that the woman was in the company of a man prior to the incident.
