MOTORIST KILLED IN WEEKEND ACCIDENT IN RURAL ANGUS

A MOTORIST has been killed in a road traffic accident in rural Angus overnight on Saturday into Sunday.
Police are carrying out enquiries into the accident which occurred on the B978 Wellbank to Letham road in Angus, close to Downiebank Farm and the Douglaswood Centre.

The H registered metallic grey BMW 320 motor car had been travelling north and was involved in an incident resulting in the vehicle leaving the road.

Any witnesses to this incident and/or any persons who have seen a vehicle in the field adjacent to the road at the location late on Saturday or during the early hours of Sunday are asked to contact police on 0845 600 5705 or pass details on to any police officer.
