KIRRIE DEN INCIDENT: MAN ARRESTED

A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an incident at The Den, in Kirriemuir, at about 8 pm on Wednesday.
Police confirmed this morning (Thursday) that a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.

A 21-year-old woman was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with an injury to her neck as a result of the incident.

Her injury is not life threatening.

The 22-year-old man is expected to appear at Forfar Sheriff Court on Friday.
