THE co-ordinator of the Forfarian community bus has made a timely appeal for more volunteer drivers to keep the bus on the road.
More and more local groups and organisations are calling on the bus for much needed transport to get their members to and from a variety of functions.

As well as providing vital transport for groups in Forfar, requests are also made out of town with a number of groups in Kirriemuir now using the valuable service.

As a result, co-ordinator Dave Stewart would like to hear from anyone with a clean driving licence who has a few hours to spare.

He said: "We are a bit short of drivers at the moment. At this time of year the demand for the Forfarian is particularly high, in fact the demand is getting higher and higher all the time."
If you are interested please call Dave on 07889 732081.
