REHEARSALS CONTINUE FOR OLIVER!
MEMBERS of Forfar Musical Society continue to prepare for their production of Oliver! which runs at the Reid Hall from Tuesday, June 8 to Saturday, June 12.
We've already featured a few of the popular figures from the show, and this week we highlight Nancy and Bill Sykes, played by Joanna Shepherd and Kieran Watson respectively.
Oliver! is the hit musical by Lionel Bart based on the novel Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens.
Oliver is the young orphan who runs away to London to seek his fortune after being sold for having the audacity to ask for more.
Befriended by The Artful Dodger, Oliver experiences the seedy underside of Victorian London.
Featuring well known songs such as "Food Glorious Food", "Consider Yourself" and "As Long As He Needs Me", the show is guaranteed to be a hit.
Tickets, costing 8 (adults), 6 (concessions) and 25 (family ticket for two adults and two concessions), can be bought from The Toy Castle and Garlands.
