THE ANNUAL Kirriemuir Wargames Club TARGE event was as successful as ever this year.

The results were as follows: Wargames unit (Isla Cup) - Alan Wedderburn (Tain), Dave Stewart (East Kilbride), Peter Muir (Falkirk), Jim Mason (Old Meldrum), Dave Stewart.

Junior wargames unit (Lord Airlie Shield) - Fraser Nicol (Moray), Robbie Nicol (Coupar Angus), Chris Reid.

Wargames army (John Swinney MSP Shield) - Alan Wedderburn, Darren Lane (Edinburgh), John Hill (East Kilbride).

Single figure (Urban Mammoth Trophy) - Michael McGechie (Forfar), Michael McGechie, Sid Edlington (East Kilbride).

British military figure (Black Watch Quaich) - Sid Edlington, Lawrence Naughton (Inverkeithing).

Junior modelling (Rotary Club of Kirriemuir) - Jonathon Millar (Craigellachie), James Yeats (Brechin), Robbie Nicol (Laurencekirk).

Diorama (D&P Robertson Shield) - Michael McGechie, Sid Edlington, Stuart Bundy (Kirriemuir).

Sci-fi fantasy group (Visocchis of Kirriemuir Cup) - Chris Nicol (Moray), Erik Priessman (Leuchars).

Best club participation table (Kirriemuir Round Table Cup) - South East Scotland Wargames Club (Edinburgh), Glasgow Games Group, RAF Leuchars.
