One-act plays
THE Angus District heat of the annual national one-act plays competition, organised by the Scottish Community Drama Association, takes place at the Webster Memorial Theatre, Arbroath next month.
Local drama clubs perform short plays with public comments and judging by Alasdair Hawthorn from Glasgow on Friday and Saturday, February 24 and 25 at 7 pm nightly. The Angus winners go through to the next round of the competition.

The competition follows the Angus Tayside Young Farmers Cabaret competition which includes singng, dancing and cabaret on Saturday, January 28 at 7 pm.
