"Are these my basoomas I see before me?" – Louise Rennison: This is the 10th and final book in the series of confessions of Georgia Nicolson. I was really looking forward to reading this instalment and it didn't disappoint me at all. I didn't want to read to the end though as I knew it was the end of the series. I think this book would be perfect for any teenage girls looking for a comedy but also a realistic look on a teenage girl's life. You will find yourself laughing out loud at this hilarious diary as it goes through aspects of a teenager's life such as parties, school, boys and friends; I highly recommend this amazing book! Bookstart crawl: Twenty-five tots are taking part in this year's Bookstart Crawl, aiming to read six books over the summer, collecting stickers and certificates along the way. Those who successfully complete the Crawl will be presented with their prize teddies at the first Rhymetime session on Wednesday, August 19 at 9.15 am, and staff are hoping Hamish the Bookstart Bear will do the honours!
Questseekers: Staff are encouraging all 100 plus Questseekers to pop into Kirrie Library and confirm with staff that they have finished their quest by no later than Saturday, August 15. Staff are busy preparing the Questseekers presentation ceremony to which all those who complete will receive a written invitation.
