FORFAR Dramatic Society presented three evenings of ghostly readings with extra effects and ‘visiting spirits’ in the week before Christmas.

Patrons of the Vine & Monkey, were chilled by Scottish and Victorian ghost stories, and after a stovie supper, entertained by ‘Tommy the Tartan Troubadour’.

Next up from the Society is a February double bill on Tuesday, February 12, and Wednesday, February 13.

They are ‘Hogmanay’ by James Scotland and ‘A Bolt from the Blue’ by David Tristram. They will be perfomed at The Plough Inn, Market Street, Forfar, at 7.30 p.m. nightly.

Tickets from forfardramatic@live.co.uk or telephone 07783 481 259.
