ONE OF the world’s best-loved ballets, The Nutcracker, is coming to UK theatres courtesy of Moscow Ballet La Classique.

It will be at the Caird Hall, Dundee on Wednesday, November 21, at 7.30 p.m.

It’s based upon a children’s tale by Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffman and is set on Christmas Eve, when the young Clara creeps downstairs for a sneak peek at one of her presents.

The eternally popular score is by Tchaikovsky, and features such memorable melodies as ‘The Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy’ and ‘The Waltz Of The Flowers’.
