Wedding Babylon – Imogen Edwards-Jones & Anonymous: A week in a London Wedding Planners hectic life of cakes, confetti and catering, which lifts the lid on the most expensive day of a woman's life. Why do the costs escalate so much, who is ripping you off; which schemes are in and more importantly which are so last year? By the same author as the TV favourite Hotel Babylon, this book has its own fair share of shocks, scandals and sex which will intrigue you till the very end.
Girl Friday – Jane Green: Set in Connecticut amidst the world of New York Bankers and their families, where the credit crunch has begun to bite, Kit is newly divorced and just starting to find her way again in the world without her status as Adam's wife. She finds herself a job as an assistant to a famous author. Through her interest in Yoga and her instructor friend she finds herself involved with a new man Steve but is he really to good to be true? Does everyone in Highfield have a secret they are trying to keep?
"Are these my basoomas I see before me?" – Louise Rennison: This is the 10th and final book in the series of confessions of Georgia Nicolson. I was really looking forward to reading this instalment and it didn't disappoint me at all. I didn't want to read to the end though as I knew it was the end of the series. I think this book would be perfect for any teenage girls looking for a comedy but also a realistic look on a teenage girl's life. You will find yourself laughing out loud at this hilarious diary as it goes through aspects of a teenager's life such as parties, school, boys and friends; I highly recommend this amazing book! Please note copies of a list of forthcoming books are available at the desk for readers to uplift and browse at their leisure, and staff will be pleased to help place a hold on any title which appeals.
