After last year's disasterous display of Christmas lights, do you think there is an improvement this year?

I don't think they are any different that what they were last year. What I do think is that they're up far too early. It's disgusting that t
he lights are up by Remembrance Day. It's totally disrespectful.

Joan Bennison, Nether Tulloes

They're about the same as last year - atrocious. We should condense all the lights into the cross area and if we put them all there the cross would be a good focal point.

John Gray, Kirriemuir

I think the lights are worse. I noticed them when I came through on Tuesday evening. The first thing I thought when I saw them was 'are they finished putting up the lights? It's pretty poor show.

Jo Tunley, Letham

The lights are fine and I would say the tree is a bit better than last year. I think it's because the way they've wrapped the lights round it. The cross is a lot brighter and better.

Margaret Smith, Forfar
