Do you think dogs should be kept on leads in public areas?

Definitely. I have got two dogs and they are always on the lead. There are never out without being on the lead as I wouldn't trust them.

Kelly Barber, Forfar.

No I don't. I go round Forfar Loch a lot and although I don't have a dog, I feel there's not a problem if the dogs are well behaved. There may be the odd dog that needs to be on the lead but not the rest, as long as they are under control and their owners pick up their dogs' mess.

Flo McClean, Brechin.

Yes I do. I go out walking with my son who has a dog and it is always on the lead. People should try to control their dogs and they should be on a lead to try to prevent attacks.

Helen Hoy, Forfar.

Yes. Sometimes they tend to be aggressive and should be kept on leads so they are under control. This way owners can watch out for fouling, especially in the Forfar Loch area where there are kids about.

James Hoy, Forfar.
