Do you think methadone should continue to be administered in local chemists?

It needs to be safe and the public needs to feel safe. I think the whole thing with methadone needs to be restructured by the government as i
t's like a cover up, not a cure.

Dawn Kerr, Kirriemuir.

Not in public. I have been in a chemists in Dundee when it happened. I don't think it should be done in the main shop.

Rachel Murray, Kirriemuir.

They have to get it some place. Maybe it could be done in the health centre but that's maybe been tried. I think it should continue as it is. If you have had a bad experience then maybe you could go to the chemist on a different day.

Alan Kerr, Kirriemuir.

Where else would they go? If they can't get it there then it would only be moving the problem. It is not ideal but there is no alternative. I am from Dundee but as Forfar is a smaller community I assume there is a small number of people on the methadone programme.

Duncan Whyte, Dundee.
