Tag FD leprosy Nikki Jorgensen of Leprosy Mission Scotland (pictured) gave a presentation to Forfar Action of Churches on Sunday afternoon. World Leprosy Day will be celebrated in over 100 countries on the last Sunday in January. After a short act of worship in the Plough Inn, Nikki explained, showing the DVD A Just Cause just what leprosy can mean to 700 new sufferers every day, mainly in India, Africa and Brazil and what the charity is doing to bring healing and justice to them. Around 50 Forfar folk attended and were encouraged to give, act and pray for the challenge that still lies ahead on the road to a world without leprosy. Ian White of the Plough was thanked for providing the venue and sharing the catering. A total of �150 was raised and this will be added to on World Leprosy Day Sunday, January 29.
