TRAINING FUND LAUNCH FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES

IN this current economic climate, businesses need all the help they can get, so the recently launched Angus College Training Fund has been strongly welcomed by businesses large and small across the community.

The Training Fund aims to give local businesses a helping hand when it comes to paying for staff development.

Under the scheme, local businesses can apply for a financial contribution of up to 50% to offset the cost of training being delivered by Angus College.

In order to qualify, businesses must be based in Angus and only staff that are resident within Angus are eligible.

Established with support from Angus Council economic development division, the scheme will expire on December 31 or sooner if all funds are committed.

It is anticipated that demand for the Training Fund will be high and employers are encouraged to contact Angus College sooner rather than later.
